The Community Based Acupuncture Service (CBAS) (Funded by the Sussex Cancer Fund) offers FREE acupuncture therapy alongside conventional cancer treatments. Tailored for cancer patients, the acupuncture is administered by trained professionals who work closely with patients to address their individual needs and concerns.

Western Medical Acupuncture

Western medical acupuncture, as a complementary therapy, offers potential benefits such as pain management: It helps alleviate cancer-related pain by stimulating nerves and triggering the body’s natural pain-relieving responses, symptom relief: Acupuncture can also reduce chemotherapy-induced nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and other treatment side effects, improving overall comfort, stress reduction. Funded by the Sussex Cancer Fund and delivered in partnership with the Macmillan Horizon Centre.
